My name is Amanda Compton and I am a 6th Grade Math teacher at Clark-Pleasant Middle School. I graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I also hold a Master's degree in School Counseling and an English as a Second Language endorsement from Indiana University.
After graduating from college, I began my teaching career at Clark-Pleasant Middle School, teaching 8th Grade Mathematics. After 8 years at the middle school, I moved to the Intermediate School when it opened in 2004. I am thrilled to be back at Clark-Pleasant Middle School teaching 6th grade math.
In addition to teaching I am the proud Army wife to my husband, Bradley, and the luckiest mother in the world to have a wonderful daughter named Chloe. Aside from teaching, I love to travel (the above picture was taken in Bar Harbor, Maine) and read. I am also very involved at my church and with mission work around the world.
